Hello, and welcome to Cardinal Learning Solutions! My journey into special education began long before I became a special education teacher. Growing up with a parent who faced physical limitations and navigating my own learning struggles. I learned early that every person has unique strengths and challenges. I’ve always believed we should be seen for what we can do, not limited by what others assume about us.

My passion for special education became even deeper when my son began struggling with ADHD and oppositional defiance in preschool. Wanting to support him and other children like him; I made it my mission to make a lasting impact. This work goes beyond the classroom as the primary goal is helping students gain confidence, find joy in learning and become contributing members of society. 

I have worked in nearly every side of education the past 20 years from the local school district, both public and private, to state level leadership supporting students with disabilities and their families. I hold advanced degrees in Education and Special Education.

I am so glad you're here and I can't wait to meet you and learn about your child!
